I identified an opportunity to enhance the All-Star announcement for Connor Bedard featured on NBC Sports Chicago. Driven by my admiration for Connor Bedard as a fan, I set out to create my version of the announcement, aiming to inject a new visual appeal.
In my redesign, I prominently showcased Connor Bedard's iconic number 98 against a striking blue backdrop of Chicago, paying homage to both the player and the city. To elevate the graphic further, I introduced additional textures to create a richer and more immersive visual experience.
Taking creative liberties, I selected a distinct typeface that runs up the left side of the graphic, contributing to a unique and personalized design. Additionally, I incorporated relevant stats to provide viewers with insights into Connor Bedard's performance up to the All-Star break.
My graphic not only establishes a more engaging scene for the viewer but also integrates the texture of the Blackhawks jersey on the left side, adding a layer of authenticity to the overall design. I am confident that these enhancements significantly contribute to the overall impact of the graphic.
Through this project, I aimed to demonstrate my passion for design, my appreciation for Connor Bedard as a player, and my ability to improve visual narratives. For a more detailed look, I encourage viewers to explore the nuances of my design, which I believe enhances the celebration of Connor Bedard's All-Star recognition.
