I observed a lack of cohesive visual identity at my beloved local taco shop in the college town I reside in. Eager to contribute, I approached the shop owner to discuss the possibility of introducing some visual concepts. To my delight, they expressed interest, revealing that they had never established a definitive logo or brand book. This presented an exciting opportunity for me to create one
Identifying areas for improvement, I aimed to enhance aspects such as reward cards, menu design, logo development, social media presence, and the creation of packaging and merchandise.
The culmination of my efforts resulted in the delivery of a comprehensive brand book that resonated positively with the client. The standout feature, according to their feedback, was the revamped reward card, which effectively communicated the friendliness and freshness associated with their food.
While the initial stages of the project posed challenges, revisiting and collaborating with the client during the implementation phase has led to a sense of satisfaction and pride in the outcomes achieved. I look forward to the imminent launch of this revitalized brand, confident that it will elevate Tacos El Gordo’s visual identity and customer experience.
